As functional automation significantly depends on the peripheral components we at Dahl Automation have started developing own serial products which meet our customers‘ farreaching demands. These components have been certified specially for the reliable operation with Universal Robots, may be plug & play integrated with the collabora­tive robot and easily run thanks to a user-friendly intuitive interface.

Based upon the 2017 adaptive gripper study, on this years‘ automatica we present the enhanced Dahl Adaptive Gripper DAG-M. The servo-electrical handling allows the free programming of parameters such as a variable gripper stroke, adjustable speed, position and power. Essential functions such as Freedrive and position memory are even available at the touch of a button directly on the gripper housing. Optionally, the gripper fingers may be customized.

Sometimes it becomes necessary that your robots “gets eyes“. Regarding the all new Dahl Vision System we offer two models of an all new visual object recognition for chaotic parts sorting or attribute-based parts control. The wrist camera of our flexible version DV-F is fixed on the robot arm and uses a liquid lens technology to focus objects very quickly. With our static high-resolution version customised in respect of your application the lens is freely selec­table. After the comfortable installation and calibration of the DV-S you can easily teach objects, vary the sensitivity by variable determination of the edge threshold and check the physical availability of space for the upcoming gripping process by use of the integrated intelligent grip point control.
